Entercom Sacramento Collects 56 Tons of E-Waste!

ENTERCOM SACRAMENTO RADIO LISTENERS SAFELY RECYCLE OVER 56 TONS OF E-WASTE WITH C.E.A.R AT HOME DEPOT!

This past Saturday, October 15th, the radio stations of Entercom Sacramento107.9 The End, 96.9 The Eagle, RADIO 94.7, ESPN 1320, 106.5 The Buzz and 98 Rock – partnered with C.E.A.R. and Home Depot to collect and safely recycle over 56 tons of E-Waste! Over 112,560 pounds of e-waste was collected and most kept out of our landfill!

E-Waste is used electronic products that have reached the end of their useful life. Computers, televisions, VCR’s, Stereos, Copiers, Cell Phones, Video Games are just a few of the electronic items that are E-Waste. If it has a circuit board and/or a cord, it’s likely E-Waste!

The radio stations of Entercom Sacramento teamed up with C.E.A.R. (California Electronic Asset Recovery) to make it easy, safe and free to fill our Big Green Bins at participating Home Depot locations full of E-Waste for recycling. C.E.A.R. then took their innovative and environmentally sound e-waste recycling technology and recycled it, keeping harmful materials out of our landfills!
